Off to Kindergarten

Preschool Graduation!

Friday night was Liam's graduation from preschool. :-) Here he is, with his balloon, in the shirt he decorated with hot wax. They had a parent who does it professionally come in to help.

Getting his "diploma" (they rolled the shirts up and gave them to each kid after announcing their name and where they'd be attending kindergarten):

Liam's self portrait. They also worked very hard on portraits (of themselves and others) this year. All the self portraits were hung gallery-style in the hallway--it looked awesome. Liam made the frame, too.

And here are all the portraits Liam's friends did of him (they drew portraits of everyone in the class).

Liam's 15 seconds during the dance performance (which was amazing, really!). Note that Liam is the only child *not* in dark pants. Go me.

Today's Quinn-ism

He just cracks us right up all the time. This morning, looking for the key to the garage (which is on the dryer): "I will get the key! I see it with my eyeballs!"

Happy Birthday, Quinn!

Quinn turned two on 4/18. Here are some pics from his party on Saturday. The boys' big present this year is a sand boat (that poor Tim assembled while my mom and I got the boys out of the house all morning). They love it! Quinn needs to learn not to throw sand, though...

Not horrible for a beginner, I guess, but the hems kind of suck. Oh well! There are no huge glaring errors, it fits me, and it was really fun to make. :)

Such a funny commercial!

The boys love a commercial for Kraft Mac and Cheese in which a (cartoon) dinosaur, in search of some cheesy deliciousness, gets cheese sauce sprayed in his face. If the commercial comes on, Liam will rewind it and watch it as many times as he can before we can't stand it anymore (I think he rewound it 15 times once).

Anyway, here they are, watching the commercial the other day. It just makes me laugh how hysterical they get.
